sucks to hear that. Rest in peace, Norm. Say hi to the rest of the old rodders that have already made it to the other side.

Damn. :( I have half expected this but kept praying for him to recover. Very, very sad news.

A few years ago I went to a funeral service for a friend of my GF, and I thought at the time it was the oddest funeral I had ever been to. Instead of the sadness I was used to at most funerals they were celebrating her life and the preacher said "We are sad for ourselves losing her, but happy she has finally gone home and is no longer suffering."

The older I get the more that makes some sense to me. Norm is no longer suffering, as he must have these final days, but we are suffering by no longer having him here on earth with us. Let's celebrate his wonderful, funny life while he was here, and remember the gentle, nice man he was. Luckily, we have a lot of pictures and movies of him in happier times to remember him by.

If the world were poplulated by only people like Norm was, what a different world this would be. Rest in Peace, Mr Grabowski. :(

    Don

This is the Norm I want to remember.
