That's pretty much what I'm doing this morning... Sleep Walking. As such, I figured it better to fill your eyes and ears with a nice little motion picture rather than make you sit through some incoherent drivel that I thought up to write. You've got ... <BR><BR>To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Hey, Ryan thanks for the morning eye opener, you always come up with the good stuff. Have a great day. ...........Jack
Awesome. I think I need a Native American headdress for the HAMB Drags this year. I have a similar physique as that guy.
dreamy.. the end was a little like the alarm clock going off and I didn't want to wake up you know at least a couple guys died there
man it just makes me want to quit my 9-5 job and join the super dave experiment and drive, make , and blow up shit. and smell nitro fuel each morning .. i can smell it already. fuck , i need a new job. thanks for the reminder .. lol
OK, I'll bite. Where's the link? I click on the movie artwork and an item promoting the Alliance appears.
(scratching my head) Hm. The only thing I see underlined is the Sleep Walking title. When I click on that, it simply refreshes the original post by Ryan. Maybe it's my computer. I'll try a reboot... Sorry for the distraction.
Wow, make me feel old! Saw all those guys at Connecticut Dragway in the 1960s. And the Surfers too! Drag racing just isn't the same anymore.
I know the feeling, Bro. Thanks for reminding all of us what used to be; glad I was around to live through those days...
I love it! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/y8EBK36iRqU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/y8EBK36iRqU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Can't one of you guys with big brains and stuff build a damned time machine already!!! I want to go back.
I remember being a young teenager and going with my friend when his dad raced. I loved being in the pits, smelling raw unburnt fuel, watching the "old guys" (the ones in their 20s and 30s) working on the cars. I remember the first time I stood next to an alcohol burner when they lit it off...WOW! I've loved the site, smell and taste of cars my whole life. BTW, I met Don Prudhomme at a bar once; he was the nicest guy. I bought him a beer and he let me ask him a bunch of questions and never made me feel like he'd answered them all a hundred times before.
I hadn't seen anything but the famous still shot of the Swamp Rat clutch explosion before. Man, that is enough to make you want to develop a rear engine dragster!
