Pretty neat ride coming together. My first finished car was a 60, with a Chev 283...was lots of fun back in the old days. Several other guys in town had 260's and 289's in their Falcons, Couldn't buy them like that even in the sixties...like to think we got more respect than those who went out and bought everything. Stick with it!

Very cool Aiden! I'm about 50 years older than you, and just got my first Falcon this year! Mine is also a '63! Looking forward to see your progress. I like what you've done so far!

At the time of that old pik the Fairlane had a 351c 4sp , car was originally a 6 cyl. 3 on the tree . my brother is 2 yrs older so he got the car first . I was his engine builder, 1st upgrade was 260, then 289 and finally the cleveland which buy the way is the exact engine and trans that is in my Falcon ! moral of the story is if your a gearhead DONT EVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY ! sure as heck the next day you'll need somthing that you just got rid of . 20 yrs ago when I decided to go racing I built the falcon mostly out of parts from my high school stash . start hording now, things become obsolete at your parts store in a hurry . Have a great Holiday !! Ed

Heres a pik of my Dad with one of his obsessions "15" model T... he was the reason for my addiction .
