He was apparently a newscaster in Chicago and Los Angeles in the late 1950s/early 1960s and built (likely had somebody build it for him) a 1957 Continental Mark II into a bubbletop custom. Apparently spent some time in the Movieworld Cars of the Stars Museum, possibly sold out of the museum at auction in 1976. Anybody know anything about it?

    thx,
    dan

Lee Wells a high end upholstery guy back in the 60's and 70's was involved with one. Same car ? I think Lee said the car was fairly new when they started it but the father of the owner let him have it because quite a bit had rust along the bottom. They made it looked sectioned.
