Default Help if possible

Has anybody ever reversed a VW bus steering box.....???? Is it even possible?????

If the box worked in the current configuration I wouldn't be asking the question....BUT...it has worked great for many years.......

You can reverse a Corvair box, but I haven't heard of anyone reversing a VW Bus box. I have one in my Roadster, and the arm points down. Marty Strode use them, but his arm points up. Here's his info,

there's probably a way to do it since VW built LHD and RHD cars/trucks; try on Samba and see what they can tell you. i used to peddle parts for VW (ten years worth) and there's many ways to change over the configuration for both types. unfortunately, i can't recall what the bus box looks like or how it's set up.
