I just got home last night and started processing this morning. Here's the first few. Killer show. Best first-time effort I've ever seen in my 53 years of going to shows. Congratulations to Steve and his attentive staff. The cruises and activities were very well planned and lots of fun. The rough streets of Baltimore were not kind to lowered cars, however!

They take time to prepare. Here's another fix.

Except the owner's defacing his own beautiful statement to express an ugly statement. Kind of a "cut off your nose to spite your face" move.

Man, this maroon roadster is gorgeous. The way the honey colored steering wheel matches the cowl welting and the "Firestone" lettering on the tires and feels so good against the incredible maroon. All the black and chrome and polish details bring it home. Stance and proportion are spot on too. I O.D. easy on late 40's and early 50's text book hot rods, but I'll make a GIGANTIC exception for this one.

  8. Thanks for taking the time to shoot all the pictures and post them Tom. I know it's a time consuming shitty job, but someone has to do it, even with nit wits like me bothering you to chat. It was good to meet you.

  9. I personally don't understand this kind of vulgarity, and why put it on your car. HRP

I'm not big on vulgarity either, but it is funny.

The car was built by Walker Morrison in the early 50's.

This was probably explained somewhere, but apparently I missed it. Why did TRJ, a West Coast publication, choose to host their first event on the East Coast? Was there a co-host club, or something?

I do realize that Steve Coonan is from the area, but I still don't quite get it.

    Nice pictures, anyway. Thanks!

Tony, for one thing, it is quite a vibrant scene there, lots of good cars on the East coast, my first time there.

I'm sure Steve's roots factored in. I had your same thought going in, but in hindsight, it was obviously a smart move. Bad weather threatened from Tuesday night on, with a good chance of rain forecast for Friday and Saturday; Turned out clear and cooler, perfect weather.

  30. Your coverage is therapy to help me get over those daily insulin shots. Nice job.

On the offensive sticker...our cars say enough about how we feel without the need to sign off on it. I would like to drive my car long distance but physical/health problems prevent that so using a trailer is necessary.
