A Galveston Island warehouse find with actual 60's drag racing history. Pee Wee (which is also his name on HAMB) cleaned it off and here it is.

Dave H had this '32 built by Austin Speed Shop and they're just finishing the odds and ends now. He told me he bought the body in Indiana and the early hemi 1/2 hour from his house in Florida.

"The Waco Kid". Put away in the '60's and untouched since.

Liked the pics......I like nostalgia as much as the next guy but, I noticed that only one or two of the group looks to have had new or recent paint......hummmm...spent the last 25 years learning how to make 'em look good........oh, well.

I shot maybe 10% of the cars there. There were a lot of beauties. It was a cloudy, chilly day and I guess I was in a patina mood. Plus I had two 7-year-olds with me wanting to climb on the Army truck and Jeeps all day. Glad you like the pics! It was a fun show.
