these kitchen, house, appliance photos are a BIG tease. One day when i get my old farmhouse and a peice of land; I'm ripping out the kitch (unless its old) and I am going to furnish it with everything vintage. My house will be a damn 1940s-1950's musuem.

From the “1957 Secret Squadron Official Manual and Code Book” — a promotional item from Ovaltine, sponsors of the Captain Midnight TV series. The Captain’s airplane was called the “Silver Dart.”

An Austin a day keeps the boring cars away :):):).

'Anorak note' - Another Austin with a few mods away from standard, the strap between the front wings was and is a popular modification. Sidelights are fantastic' extras looking like they've been nicked from a Swallow. The picture saves as a 1928 Saloon but the '28 cars had scuttle vents so this one might just be a bit earlier.

I think Jack had a Knox or two earlier. But this car looks to be a formal and not Knox. Anybody help with the make? Also, anybody have a pic of jack with his FINAL car, the Zephyr he got killed in in '46?

Jimi, looks like a Lincoln with an "owl" light mounted in front of the radiator (makes ID a bit more challenging).

Twin, maybe THIS is the car that made a Lincoln lover out of Jack Johnson, eventually leading him to buy a Zephyr. What year is this Lincoln? And when did Lincoln start offering the V-12? Jack J LOVED to put his right foot down!!!
