One thing Dog, you managed to depress me. All these presents! I think my family were tight asses, this would represent all the presents for every member of my family over at least a 4 year period!

Occasionally I will get something, but it was hard to get anything to me as I was always away. As a kid me and my sister got presents every Christmas up until we turned 16.

    A HUGE THANKS! to everybody
who took the trouble to post pix
    of SO many Christmas mornings!!!
What a blast of FAMILY Christmas
    nostalgia! Here's ANOTHER Christmas
    standard!

The top-grossing film of 1954, "White Christmas"
was a sheer escapist, larger-than-life, romantic,
sentimental Hollywood fable! And we still eat up
the musical romp 56 years later! The image above
appears to be from a "window card" poster and is
THANKS to Wikipedia and the WikiMedia Commons
    project. (BTW, we all refer to Wiki now and then;
they're in their current fundraiser and accept help
in amounts from the smallest to largest. They are
non-profit, for anyone who doesn't know!)

"White Christmas" finale and "Gee, Wish I Was Back in the Army"
    scenes THANKS to rosemaryclooney.com!

Don’t know if anyone else recognized this toy – It was a car dashboard that had all kinds of knobs and gadgets and the speedometer moved as you turned the wheel! I also got one for Christmas, I don’t remember what year, but thought it was the coolest thing. We went for many rides together!:D

That toy Dashboard was made by a company called "READING". There were five of them on Ebay last week. They sold for rather reasonable prices. I guess there's alot of them around. Remco toys made a smaller version also. If they were made today I guess they would have Airbags and no ashtray and no ignition key that went through your knee cap in a crash!
