She was also the Yank girl in June '44. So think about how many guys at Normandy died with their last image of a woman from that magazine...

Nice! Yeah that's gotta be the same T. I loved the Munsters and still do I didn't know they were out in the box set. My fav of course is the episode Herman looses the Koach and they build the Dragula. They had one hanging in the Planet Hollywood in Atlantic City many years ago. Don't know if it is still there or not. Would love to get my hands on it and make it driveable.

  9. Wasn't the builder the same guy that did the De Lorean from Back to the Future? Jay Mooreberg or Nordberg, or something like that? Built the Monkeemobile, too, maybe? The Batmobile?

  10. Jay Orberg built some stuff mostly wacky pos 110 foot limos etc.Mr Dean Jefferys built the Monkeemobile, and ford motor company had the Futura show car built then Barris morfed it to the batmobile

That "Bad Ass Axle" Is off of a '37-8-9 Ford V8 60. That car in "the Lively Set" has a Dodge body, not a Ford T. And you guys call yourselves traditionals.

I did some digging when I got home from work.

The car I posted a picture of earlier is featured on page 70 and 71 of the March 1965 issue of Hot Rod.

Here's a bit of information from the article:

Built by Erv Campbell of Santa Ana, CA from a cut down 1922 Ford touring body and a shortened Model A pickup bed on a 1930 Model A frame. At that time it was Erv's sixth rod and reportedly took over 5,000 hours to complete -- the hardest part, according to the owner, was fabricating the headers for the 1957 347 cu. in. Pontiac motor. The trans was a 1956 Hydra-Matic and the rear a 1955 Pontiac suspended with an A spring. Wheelbase was 96" and it had a 1958 Ford truck steering box. Wheels were Americans front and rear shod with 4.00x15 Pirellis front and 9.00x16 Racemasters rear.

This is pretty comprehensive information for car features of the day.

So we got the "who" and the "when".
    Now we need the "where".

Where is the car 43 yrs later?

If any forum can come up with the answer this one can.

You're eyes are ok, the driver's door doesn't open so no hinges that side.
