I finished this last week. '48 Chevy. Olds grille, '50 Pontiac tailights. One piece (acetate) windshield.

Duplicolor light metallic green and Tamiya Champaigne, polished Testors Wet Look Clear.

I haven't been at the 'bench in a couple months myself, but I'll put up a couple shots of my salt flats 'Vette from the last model builders group build-off. I've prolly posted them before, but maybe somebody hasn't seen 'em:

Looks like Galaxie will be bringing out the coupe version of the 48 Chevy kit near the end of the year. It will also have an option to attach wood grain sides to make a Sportsman type car.

 

I have to post some shots but bought a box of built kits at a yard sale alot of 3 in 1 kits 60 chevys and a real dealer promo 57 fairlane

 

Okay I looked and there was model car Sunday so I put one up just after I did that I saw this so how do I take the other one down that I put up?

 

So here my 32 I have been working on from my truck on my down time

This model is based on a sketch that I found in Friday Art Show

 

I'm sure you've heard it before BUT, "you gotta be kidding me!!!!" The detail--especially on the dash--is incredible. Great talent.

 

The fuel lines on this particular engine actually came in the kit !!! The engine is the 421 Pontiac from the AMT '62 Pontiac kit.

I'm starting on a'57 Fairlane that I'm going to try to convert to a Custom 300-we'll see how that goes. No pics this week as I'm running brakelines on the truck.

 

Why? Revell is coming out with the new '57 Ford 300 in a few months.

Ran across this one at a local hobby/sports card shop on Saturday. The owner had just picked it up at a yard sale that morning and already had dollar signs in his eyes after looking at them on ebay. He actually had the contents of two boxes (one nice, one really beat) and I did a quick inventory of the contents. Turns out he had about 99% of a whole kit, plus a ton of extra parts. The worst part that was missing was half of the engine block. ON a kit of an engine, that's kind of a biggie!
