Technical 40 Ford Question

Does anyone know much longer is a 40 Ford Sedan door is than a 40 Ford Coupe door?

 

I believe the door off of the fordoor is the same as the coupe.

 

he meant two door sedan !! Betcha ?

 

don't have a sedan handy but I recall about 4"-convert door is longer than coupe also.

 

Fordor doors can be used but require some modification at the top rear corners.

 

Wanting to put the longest sedan/convert door on a coupe.

 

6 inches longer.

 

Seems like Sam Foose did that once, sedan doors on a coupe.

 

6" is very close. Tudor sedan doors and convertible doors are ALMOST the same length, but the Tudor is longer than the convert by .21", and both are about 6" longer than coupe or Fordor front doors.

 

Grinding works well---did that back in 1959 on #1.
