  1. I like the Woodward deal. There is also a killer porcelain diner on mich ave near Schaefer that has killer ham and eggs..not open on Sunday. Maybe a early meet up before the wives and kids get up

Ummmm us with bats....how long before someone gets a bat to the balls

i just seen this and i am really bummed. sos and midnight mass were my inspirations to get my car driving this year. they are some of the few REAL rod shows left in michigan. i remember my first memory of the poor boys it was 6,7 maybe 8 years ago at detroit autorama in the basement. i remember talking to this guy for a long time with a slammed model a 2 door sedan. on the car in magic marker it had a list with dates like "pulled motor" and "it runs". he had tattoos, a chain wallet, and a poor boys shirt on. i am not sure if it was him or meeting this guy named jimmy shine and seeing his so cal bare metal truck that did it for me but that day was the start and insperation of my hot rod addiction. We have to keep these shows going. What can we all do to help?

  9. Matt I got a tear in my eye when I read this.....ha ha......what's cool is a young dude like yourself that saw that and was like F{}# I'm building me a car and it's gonna kick ass! See ya in June....

And I will never tell " that guy" his likeness was used near a jimmy shine reference ha ha

  10. Well under 3 weeks to go....let's hope Mother Nature decides to remember this season called Spring! The show is a go as always first Saturday in June.....same old spot....the gravel and grass of Davisburg. The Facebook page gets updated....the website...No..you'll see some changes to the show this year...mainly some more motorcycles from the sound of it.....and that's if they fit the show criteria. Hope to see ya's there.....please at least there be sun and 75!

I always wondered why you guys ran the show, too much chaos and not enough of your cars, glad to see you guys relaxing this year!

  25. Well time to get the motor running.......head out to the highway....looking for adventure...come on out to Sins today! Supposed to be perfect weather..just be ready to grab your ears at 1:00 o'clock

  26. I'm out this year and not happy about it.

This is always one of my favorite shows of the year.

Have a great time and enjoy the great weather.

  27. Wow kind of nice to actually get to enjoy a show rather than run around and work...great turnout, great cars, a little less hoopla......but man was it fun. Boomer and his guys did a great job. SOS 2014 is in the books and I am sure everyone there had a damn fine time!

And yes I'm gonna say it even though our Club isn't really involved anymore.....Thanks for supporting your local Hot Rod and Kustom scene.
