Do You Know This 1934 Ford Sedan?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by andydodge, May 9, 2012.

  1. Gidday from sunny Australia......
A mate here recently purchased this 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan & matching trailer from the US and is trying to find some more info regarding the chassis and some other details.
He knows it was built by a Phillip Porter from Harrod, Ohio in 1984, was originally painted metallic red with the same graphics it has in the attached photo and was repainted the blue colour in 1988 with the graphics kept.
It was shown on the Street Rodder magazine that featured the 1990 Street Rod Nationals
It still has the Corvette 350/Turbo 400, 8" diff, Mustang II style front end and leather/tweed upholstery that it was originall built with.
It was purchased from Barker New York early this year and arrived in Australia about 2mths ago. The New York owner had it for approximately 8yrs and was unable to supply any info other than that mentioned here.
We are looking to contact Phillip Porter if he is still around or anyone else who may know of the cars earlier history.......any info or help would be very much appreciated.........I can be contacted direct on here or via my email addy as follows...... [email protected]
    .........thanks Andy Douglas.
