    My "almost finished" '41 Willys....Gray primer, red and white pleated interior, metalflake red steering wheel, 5" Ansen wheels up front, steelies with Hurst piecrusts on the rear, 388 CID tunnelramed Chev w/fenderwell headers and a richmand 5 speed.
    What is your project?

    <font color="purple"> Bluebird is a sedan. This is just known as a 1200 truck, or by the model code PLG222. The bluebird line starts as a 310 I think. </font>

    just put the motor in this weekend, and started moking up the rear when i found the new stealy rear mags i ordered dont mach my lugs, go figure...... [​IMG]

I been meaning to send you a email to comment on that sedan delivery on Daedendcruisers because my 55 chevy is on the same readers page as yours, the green hoodless one with the tunnelramed sbc...and Purple good looking truck gasser project.....thumbs up to all you gasser guys!!!

    I almost bought a pickup like yours years ago when on Maui,

    there was a Bluebird chrome insignia on the front fender,

    either someone put it on there or they share the same sheet metal

    and it had a car front on it 'cause it sure looks the same..

    please say you're using a traditional vintage Mazda rotory in it! [​IMG]

    <font color="purple"> I would say it was put there. The 320 truck had a really close nose, but not identical. My truck does share the nose with my 59 L210 sedans. They are the model below the Bluebird with the stubby truck. RATDAT Go here, click history, then 59-72, then at the bottom of that page click for the pics of all models. I have my choice of engines, the Olds 350, the Chevy 350, or one of my Datsun 4 bangers. But of course bigger will win, especially if I aquire something bigger. [​IMG] </font>

    I went half way last time, steel flip, 400 with 600 x 2 holley, wheel well hookers, m22,4 point bars, n50 inside fenders. When I do a ground up I will finnish the look with straight axil, stack injection, thumb print slicks, http://www.rebel-air.net/_wsn/page4.html ..... MORE

    [/ QUOTE ]damn i like that car! just like the one in hot rod. ive got a friend close to orlando who owned the 41 blown 392 willys, yellow , called bad banana. he now has a hemi powered front engined nostalgic dragster. i like yours better. do you know a guy named Mike Iceh? i think thats how you spell it.     im building a 57 ranchwagon,replaced the front rails w/rect tubing and f-100 axle ,relocated the rear axle forward..
