Projects Guernsey boys model A coupe build.

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Guernsey boy, Feb 1, 2011.

  1. hello, my name is neil etasse and i'm a 26 year old sign writer that lives in guernsey (small island between england and france with 60,000 people on it)

to cut a long story short, i imported a '30 coupe from california last year with the intention of rebuilding it. i changed a few things on it, used it for a bit, blew the diff out of it and now i'm rebuilding the whole car MY way.

its getting late and i can't be bothered to write too much so i'll just throw some pictures up. all comments welcome.

    cheers! :)

I have a sneakin suspicion that aint your first rodeo... :D

I will never complain about garage space again. That's some quality work in tight quarters.

  24. wow! thanks for the kind words folks!

actually this is my first hot rod, i've had a couple of 50's and 60's british cars and vw's but this is my first proper build and i'm by no means a pro fabricator! i make stickers for a living :p

yeah it's a bit tight for space in there but at least it kinda forces me to keep things tidy.

    :)

Very impressive. What are your plans for the rest of the car. Will you be leaving it an unchopped hiboy?

very nice work!!!! cant wait to see more

  30. thanks! :)

it'll stay unchopped for now, but i'm going to channel it 4 inches.

gloss dark brown body, beige '40 steels, blackwall firestones, black engine with mostly cast parts, tripower, beige tuck n roll, basically all gloss black running gear, beige detailing and brown body. nice and simple.
