This my friends is the coolest event admission tag a hot rod has ever seen... You will see why when you get your packet.

Any other lodging recommendations. The two places mentioned in the "orders" are booked up. Thanks

Any of the hotels along South Congress or even downtown would be perfect if you are into the night life. If you are just going for the show, this is a good alternative:

La Quinta Inn & Suites Austin Southwest at Mopac
4424 South Mopac Expwy, Austin, TX 78735
    (512) 899-3000   (512) 899-3885 (Fax) ‎

It's on MoPac and pretty close to the show. And really, it's not far at all from the nightlife on south congress either... Just not walkable.

Regretfully, I am unable to attend because I'm stuck in Richmond, VA on business. I cancelled a big room at the Austin Motel. It will go to the quick.

The Homestead Suites is in the neighborhood of S. Congress also at the corner of S. 1st and Barton Springs Blvd. 512-476-1818

  22. I stayed at the Homestead during the LSRU. Not too far of a walk to the action on south Congress. Lots of room for trailer parking too.

My packet came in today, pretty neat thanks!

  24. I got rooms at the Hilton on 4th st. December special $149 night.

  25. lost brake lights today.. great! one week to trouble shoot a wiring problem... never fails....

  26. Drive "faster" than everybody else, then ya don't have to worry about it:eek:....hahaha....(sorry, just came out of my mind?)

  27. That will definitely be on my back up plan... Was thinking about going to Lowe's or Home Depot and hiring a guy for the day to ride in bed and hold up two red lights when I stopped.

It was showing rain, but now shows clear skies and a high in the mid to lower 60s.
