Been lurking awhile, saw alot of good info here. Figured it was time to join. Just picked up a Willys 98B last month. Been turning wrenches for a few years, from SE Iowa originally, now in NC. Would like to keep original axle under front end and change to newer ford spindles with juice brakes. Not sure if this 30 model is the same kingpin size as later 30's and 40's Willys. Brad
Welcome Brad, Don't know what the size of your king pin would be, but the 33-36 is 5/8" dia., and the 37-42 are 3/4" dia. g-willys
Measure the kingpins yesterday. 3/4" in diam, bottom bushing a bit loose. I'd like to go to mustang 2 or ranger hubs/rotors. Been researching the bearing sizes and it's very close.
