I dont know if the Speed Sport Roadster is old enough.

    Agreed on all three.

Well......The Neikamp is spot number one. Flynt in spot number two. I'd have a hard time picking between Spencer's and McGee's for spot number three. Probably still go with Spencer's because of my appreciation of all the fabrication.

  5. It will be fun to see the alternatives to yours Ryan, I can't think of any that would top them - but someone may. This should be great.

Yeah, they are all '32s- but that's a ton of history sitting there.

East coast guy picking three east coast hot rods... That's awesome.

  9. I agree with all three of the boss's picks. However, I also favor cars that set trends such as Norm Grabowski's "T", Bo Jones' "T", and Ivo's "T".

Can we keep something out back behind the garage as a future $$ is no object?

Because my roadster is mainly a 70's roadster ... I will not put it on my list ... :)

    1) Gray Baskerville's 32

    2) Vic Edelbrocks 32

    3) Doanne Spencer's 32

There are many, many more beautiful roadsters ( like Magoo's 29 ) and McMullens car ... that I really like but the three I listed are true old time roadsters. :D

    1) Calori Roadster
    2) Isky Roadster
    3) the Navarro Roadster

  25. #1 is easy
    [IMG]
#2 Also easy, the car that set the standard for full fendered roadsters and influenced the build of the Paul Horning/Gray Baskerville roadster.
#3 is a little tougher, but there is just something about Neal East's car, although I could be swayed by others - especially if I could include Gary Kessler's or Phil Cool's. Not to mention McGee, Veda Orr .....
    then again maybe Isky's

    Definetly the Doane Spencer 32
As well as the Navarro Roadster
    And Gray Baskerville's ride.

Someday our grandkids will answer this question, and the Atomic Punk will be mentioned several times, as well as Rolf's build and Evel's Live Wire, among others.

  28. spencer, baskerville, mc gee, ...honorable mention navarro...can't wait for GNRS

  29. Rootie, your number 3 choice is alive and well in Vancouver, BC. It has been restored to its former glory. My 3 choices are
    1 Fred Steele's channelled deuce.
    2 Grabosky's Kooky roadster T
    3 Tommy Ivo Buick T

I have loved the Neumann roadster since I can remember..Although I always thought it "squatted" too much in the rear..The Landrigan roadster has a neat stance and I love the Cad exhaust pipes..The 29 has great lines as well..
