  2. WHOA.. that's rustic Bob. You'd never get it on the road here.

    I spied a neat old car down at the beach this week- so out with the watercolour (always have it with you!)

    - A '63 Olds Starfire..a very nostalgic looking 'personal luxury' package, like a T- Bird or Riv in spec, but with an old- world wheelbase. Hot mill too- I want one.. a '63! ;

    I like the art direction the FAS has already taken this week. Now to interrupt the succession of all the great color...but I give you another BOMONSTER original, this one scratched as a masthead for that other cool car guy blog - justacarguy.blogspot.com

    Spoggie: Your watercolor originals are great. Makes me want to walk towards the light. GaryC: Cool, ground-pounding drama. Ruben Duran: Really nice emotional piece. New and old at the same time. Excellent work.

  10. Ruben, I'm feelin it brotha! Love the "Our Lady of Guadeloupe " print on the guy. THese two look like their taking a break between gigs...

    Nice Olds Steve, beautiful technique!
    Bob, that's a wild ride...(looks like Charles Nelson Reilly behind the wheel.)
    Lovely BlueMax Gary, the essence of speed and action man!
    Out of control Deuce Bo!
    Frogz, I dig the Chubby Chebby wagon!

    Nothing new from me, too busy at the new job but I have been working on some concept sketches of a pin-up for a race team's trailer... Here are several of my sketches...

  16. The 203 has a small, loyal following here, as do most french models, way back to De-Dion Bouton. My favourite, apart from Bugattis, was late local Bill Wigzell's speedcar with Offy- beating blown Puegeot power;

    Steve,
    I miss the days of watching those cars run at Rowley Park. Alec Rowe was a true innovator.
