It works for me. That's pretty wild. It looks like a two seat Bonneville modified roadster prior to the days of roll bars.

    Thanks Squirell!

Ryan, must be a Mac/iPhone thing. Neither my Droid nor my PC would bring up the original link... AND I'M NOT CHANGING TO A MAC! :D

If you click "quote" on the first post in the thread, you can see how messed up the link is. It's pretty easy to fix it if you have some understanding of BBCode.

My guess is that some browsers ignore the BBCode, so they have no problem finding the url in that mess.

I was expecting a different kind of "pin-up". But that is too cool.

  17. I dig it!
I can see why it would become your favorite
    piece of art.

  18. the car is cool, and i understand art, and like the concept of the "one wrench" but...
which wrench? for the sake of an engineering discussion, what size? the engine would kind of dictate that because you would need to torque the main caps, and i guess the head could be smaller than the bolt. and anything real small could be a thumb screw.
i think the answer would actually be a "one screwdriver wench"

  19. 1/2" or 9/16 are pretty common, and Ryan's favorite engine now has head bolts available with 1/2" heads. Would probably have to work with ARP on the mains.

Outside the box...traditional...without redoing the "old" traditional. True traditional hot rodding...just a new chapter. Very cool!

  29. need more Conder in our lives.....like many others, I wish he'd call in a bit more regular...

Note: the following illustration is not his, but, shares his vision...and I keep a copy of it on my wall as a reminder

  30. The thing I like the most about it... is that it looks like a very achievable custom made body.

Great inspiration for people to tackle a one-off job.

Heck...I'm gonna start mine this afternoon... ;)
