Does anyone know when the Kenz & Leslie, Challenger1 and Ostich's Flying Caduceus Bonneville cars were together, or is that a photoshop job?

That "torpedo model"in images 5 and 6 was actually a rather interesting historical vehicle.

In 1899 La Jamais Contente ("The Never Satisfied") managed to be the first vehicle ever to go more than 100 mph. And get this ... It was powered by a pair of electric motors.

You can read a bit more about it and see a few more images of it HERE.

  6. What a cool competition to be invited to see in person, but do we really have to wait until January to see the entries? That's like six months away.

    Don't think about it.

Focus on Labor Day first, then Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and then the end-of-year holiday season instead. After the holidays are all over and past it'll be January.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I can hear that designer for the torpedo car now. Well you know the idea just came to me in the bathroom!
