After reading the "When did the Flathead stop being king" thread it got me to thinking about how much I'd love to put and early Caddillac motor in a hot rod. Then I thought what about a thread devoted to those "in between era" cars that had an OHV engine that was NOT a small block Chevy. Let's see some of those cars with a 331-390 Cad, Olds Rocket, Naillhead, or Chevy/GMC stovebolt straight six in it or even a '49-53 Flathead or two just as long as it's not a sbc
Tried to find a picture of Dean Moon's 34 Ford coupe. He bought it right after he left the service in 1946 and kept it for at least 8 years. During this time it had a hot flathead, then a Studebaker V8 that he installed some time between 1951 and 1955, before the Chev came out.
