  1. Dart, you infused this place with inspiration, I think. HOLY SMOKES this show is smokin!
I did not expect to pop on and see 5 pages already and it is 5 pages full of the highest quality content. When I get a minute i will pour over it much more closely ....

I'm a little humbled as I add my contribution; a sketch I did first thing this morning that was going to be called "Planner" or "The Architect" and include a blueprint of the thought bubble image but Dart kinda covered that theme with deft precision. Here are the other titles I'm considering along with some revisions to the custom's details...

    ... I'm thinking it's called "Wendell's Car"
    possibly "Vision"
I think I'll include a news paper clipping of an add reading:
"1949 Mercury, low milage. Must sell due to owners failing vision. $500 OBO."

    Awesome work everyone!
I put some lines and a Tiki head on a friends guitar a couple weeks ago and also striped a panel to be auctioned off at an upcoming show. Brad

Here are a few hats we been doing here at work. Having #6 Stainless cut and riveting the logos to the hats. Some are polished, some brushed and some have various materials inlaid behind the logos.

    Holy smokes! Great show everyone!

Nothing from me, yet. But i have some new time machines (clocks) in the works...

Cool stuff, Dan! As someone who worked as a 'digital imaging specialist' for 9 years I always enjoy seeing what you guys are doing!

I especially like that you got Bomonster's booth in the background of this one:

Thanks a lot Doug! One of the highlights of the show for me was actually meeting BoMonster and getting one of his cool designs on a shirt.

Next week is the Detroit Autorama. We'll have 20 artist's in the "Artist's Alley" in the Basement (The Extreme 1953). We donate artwork (Originals, and prints) to the Motor City Mavens. They auction off pinstriping done by the pnstripers upstairs, and art from the "Artist's Alley". The proceeds go to "Leader Dogs for the Blind" Last year we chose a beautiful Gold & White 54 Ford Victoria. Make sure you buy some art and support Leader Dogs!!!
I'll be donating a stretched 20x30 canvas print of my drawing (Gold Rush).

Not to pick on anyone in particular, and just as a public service, so we as artists are not considered ignorant, I should point out a little something I keep seeing screwed up.

I'm not trying to sound like the grammar police, but subtle humor doesn't always seem to work.

When abbreviating or contracting a word or number, an apostrophe is used to take the place of something else. Like when you combine "do" and "not" into the word "don't". Sooooo, when you want to represent a year, it's shortend by putting the apostrophe in place of what you're taking out. Abbreviating the year 2012 would be correctly written as '12. It's not 12' or "12". (It's one apostrophe, not two, which would be a quote instead.) It's not really all that complicated, and using it correctly just helps people understand what you really mean.

Back to the subject at hand, it's been a fantastic art show this week. I'm a little late to the party, but here's a 1936 Ford illustrated with Corel Draw and Photoshop:
