I need some pictures or some websites that sell parts for radio flyers. I am lowering my boys wagon, and I am trying to figure out what to do for the front end. Maybe gokart front end or step notch, I don't know. Maybe you guys have some pointers. Plus I just want to see some kool wagons.

I built a square tube frame for mine. Made a dropped axle from 3/4 inch black pipe. Made up spindles, kingpins, steering arms etc.

Hardest part was getting the pull handle and steer pivot combo.

    Sorry but no pics.

I'm making a wagon out of an old pedal car for my little guy. I basically just cut the seat section out and made a frame out of 1/2 square tubing after I got the ride height I wanted. For the steering I made some mini spindles and mounted them to a 1/2 round axle tube. The clevises you see in the pict control the steering, but one actually comes through the front grill now, to attach to the pull handle. Sorry I don't have any current pix, but I'm still working on it. I will eventually form a sheet metal pan for the inside to cover the rear wheels, etc, then maybe some tuck and roll interior. Who knows! Hope this helps.

  6. That really makes me want to figure a way to attach a handle to mine for my own baby's momma's little monster.

No pedals! It's gonna be a wagon, the handle comes through the front grill.

    Thanks for the words fellas!

Who needs pedals..just sit at the end of the driveway, cowboy boots on, cap gun in one hand and a root beer in the other. Chicks will dig it.

Here's my pedal car, made in Soviet Union 25+ years ago and gone through demolition derby by evil kids... Waiting for some kustom treatment...

  23. Here's a couple pics of one that my wife bought at Camp Courageous auction a few years ago.Kind of hard to see but the fenders, running boards, and gas tank are all metal welded to the body.It has a full perimeter frame and steering although the steering needs a bit of work.Color is Candy Tangerine with gold flames.I talked to the guy who built it and he said he had about 80 hours into it and I can believe him. The work is great.

there's a radio flyer wagon down the street that was grafted to the front half of a tricycle, roadster pickup style. It's great! I'd steal it if they wouldn't see me riding it... :(

I made this for my son, I am afraid he is still a bit too young to appreciate it. I hope he likes it when he gets a bit older.
