Here is the first thing...just got these new shirts in-stock and ready to roll!

I also just finished up these cafe racer/dragster shift knobs....

Great ideas Clysdale. Man I think you'll do well with these sculptures. I'm starting to think like a vendor as I'm at the Goodguys Del Mar Show today showing my stuff for the first time this weekend. Internet service costs $12.95 at the Marriott so that's price of admission for me to post here on the FAS. It's worth it but here's I now think: Gotta sell one more shirt to pay for internet. Three days of parking at the hotel @ $18 per day means I need to sell three shirts and a silkscreen print. It's a well-moneyed crowd here in Del Mar so maybe I'll make enough to get home.

Here's how I got here: Graphics applied by John Mearns from ACME Speed Shop.

Here's a couple of my silkcreen prints on chip board...

I know everyone is at the Lonestar Round Up (and believe me I wish I was there too!) but I gotta ask the community for contributions to Torque Fest art show. We are about 27 days away from the show and we are issuing one last public statement/appeal.

If you are an artist that would like to contribute to the cause - please email
    [email protected]

Artists that are contributing to the art show this year include Doug Dorr, Big Toe, Ian Monroe aka Van Gor, 3 Sheets, Joey Finz, Relic, One Armed Bandit, One Shot Kustoms, Psychotic Air, Flying Weasal Garage, Arlo DIllman, and many more that I cant think of right now.

Here is what we do - we send you the "canvas"
This year we have a 15" x 15" iron cross that is an exact aluminum reproduction of the surfers cross that Ed Big Daddy Roth used to produce in the mid 60s.

    Here is the blank cross:

here is what Dorr came up with:

Check out the article that was published about the surfers cross/ Ed Roth in Time Magazine back in 1966

We will have an expanded art show in 2011. Not only will we have special one off
contributions made by some great artists from around the world. We will also have some
pieces of their original art for sale! Prices will be determined by the artist. This part of the
show is being handled by Keven Carter of
    http://car-n-art.com/

Original pieces of art will need to be delivered to John Wells or Keven Carter by April 20, 2011.
If you wish to have your art displayed properly - it should arrive already framed and matted.
We will NOT have the time to be able to do this for the artists. Please include your name,
location, and price with each piece that you send. If you wish to contribute other pieces like
bowling pins, lamp shades, quarter panels, etc. this will not be a problem. They will be put on
display along with the more conventional art as well.

    Thanks
