  5. My latest hand-printed art print: "Rosie the Riveter"

More info about it at tinybirdpress.com where it's also for sale.

In honor of Women’s History month, I wanted to create an art print of an American icon symbolizing strong women. One who epitomizes the hard-working, patriotic women from the greatest generation.
I have been wanting to do this print for a long time. I’ve been slowly working on the drawing for this print and for a sister print, for about two years. Rosie and the dedicated women like her and the contribution they made to the war effort have always held a special place in my heart. They helped build the bombers, which as a child, I became obsessed with. Now that I’m grown, their sacrifices have strongly influenced my artwork. As seen in my B-17 nose art bomber panel series. I can’t think of a more perfect icon that symbolizes the true American spirit, which my daughter can look up to and I can have proudly hanging in my own home. I hope you enjoy her as much as I have.

A tribute, to Rosie the riveter.

Also made a quick little video for the Rosie print:

I am giving a heads up to all the artists out there who have been given a RAT FINK for the art show and auction that we are now about 40 days away from the event - and we need to get these here around April 20. Here is one from Chris Sullivan - cool metallic paint.
If you are an artist that has not started on your Fink - please refrain from "normal" we have only received 12 of these back from the artists. 7 of them are Green Fink, Red Shirt, Yellow RF on the shirt.
If there are other artists that wish to contribute to the art auction - with your own art, photography, etc. please email us.
    [email protected]
    THANKS
Proceeds from the art auction help us pay medical bills - all pyaments will be made to: Hannah Wells Medical Trust

Thanks all for sharing your eye-candy, folks.
Rikster's thread on Larry Watson's Personal Collection inspired this. Thanks again, Rik.

Very, very cool! You may have outdone even yourself - as if that were even possible.
