I've been there pal, usually when playing with the exhaust system. Luckily, I just flushed it out with water (Pour it directly from a glass).
However, I went to an eye specialist once and he sat me in a dentist looking chair and dropped some stuff into my eye to freeze it. Then he drilled (Weird seeing a drill bit heading for my eye) into my eye (Not the white part) and then showed me what he removed.... Whew, no pain until I got the bill!

Haha, everything went fine. The doc had to drill it out, wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. My worst near eye injury was when I got a couple pieces of glass stuck in my eye. Luckily a friend was around (who oddly enough had done this before) to get the pieces out with a q-tip!!!

I haven't gotten the bill yet. I'm hoping insurance will cover most of it. *fingers crossed*

Glad your on the mend now....
I always wear Safety glasses. I have many shades of good commercial ones. From Dark to slight tint but UVA and B blocker is both. FInd a good machine shop buddy and have him get them from his work. I also wear dust mask when grinding or sanding. I have white coat syndrome |
