Default 1947 Fiat Topolino

Location: SF Bay Area   Price: 42,000.
This custom built Topolino sits on a Speciality Chassis custom built rectangular tube frame, the front suspension (fresh kingpins) is a polished chrome dropped axle with coil overs. The front & rear brakes are new Wilwood units. The rear suspension is a 4 link setup. The differential is a curry (" /370 gears (rebuilt 2010). The tires are all new as are the 2 front (wider) wheels.

The body was widened 4 inch, chopped 2 inches, the roof filled and is all steel with a hand built aluminum tilt front end which was lengthened 12 inches. The vehicle was painted in/about the mid 90's and is still too nice to warrant any repainting. The interior is from Bells Customer interior and completed several years and 1 owner later.

The motor was replaced by the 3rd owner with an Art Chrisman 383 stroker with produces 454 RWHP. Custom fabricated exhaust, Vintage air, and lots of chrome. The trans is a Turbo 350 w/ Lokar shifter.

Suffice to say the car is very fast and fun to drive, since I acquired the car I have replaced all suspension fasteners with SS grade 8 or better, replaced most seals, gaskets, hoses and completely rebuilt the suspension (less coil overs) and installed nylon bushings. This vehicle is very dependable and comes with many spares including the reverse louvered engine side panels, the front fenders, the original steering box, etc. etc.

All books, records and build info & photos included.
