In.) of 11.47 @ 115.99 MPH. He finally did what he has been telling Ryan for a couple of years, The plan was to break out so that Ryan would break out worse, well it finally happened. Ryan won in the porch dog part. Everyone runs every round, that's what makes it fun. Everyone was walking around grinning, A calm sunny day, a little wind the high temp right at 70 deg. Thanks for the race report, sounds like you had nice weather and close racing. Nice turnout for start of the year. A very impressive 11.47 pass That is one stout Slant Six, 233 inches running 300+ inch times. Don't get much better than that
Old 28, it is the smallest motor and maybe the heaviest car there at 1540 lbs. Maybe the jimmy is close with a heavy motor. And I weigh 220.
What was that you said "it takes cubic inches". Remember it's not what you've got but what you do with it.

Congratulations guys. I had a great time. We had some great races. I was ask "why we didn't put V8s in these things so we could really go fast". Well I ask how old he was, he answered "23" I then told him "I understand your problem". He looked at me like I was nuts. I then explained that these cars were built in the sprit of the '50s. He then said "They had cars then that didn't have computers?" I had to laugh, but told him to check the internet.
These cars sort of fit into the "if you have to explain it, they will never understand" category. They aren't about how fast they can go, they are all about how far back in time they can take you. It's not if you win or lose, it's that you race. Rocky's flag start drags are a perfect example. No times, no speeds and grins that won't quit!
