    Great start fellas!

Tinkering with this one...thinking of offering it as the first in a series of large format prints on my site.

A couple artists who should be recognized: The first is Bill Betz (and family), better known as "Wild Bill" of Detroit, who recently recreated his lettering and pinstriping on the Gyronaut for its return to Bonneville. He said it's a lot easier to start from scratch than to reproduce what he had done in 1966, but he was up to the task and did it to a tee.

The second is Rob Ida, who not only recreated the Gyronaut's destroyed canopy and engine cover and painted the Gyronaut in its original colors, but he also repainted his own Tucker recreation for use as the Gyronaut's tow vehicle while out on the salt. Just too awesome.

The Gyronaut's return to Bonneville wouldn't be half as beautiful if it weren't for these two and their crews who brought the Gyronaut back to life. Come out and get your overdose of sodium chloride and meet us and Rob Ida and his crew, Sean and Mike Tucker (Preston Tucker's great-grandsons), and Bob Leppan, the Gyronaut's original rider who set the world's record back in 1966. He's got some stories to tell. We'll be at the Driver's Meeting to kick off Speed Week as the historic vehicle. THANK YOU SCTA!!!

Gary, I love this rendering. Some of my favorite build I have read about are the "dare to be different" types. This is an awesome vision. I had a similar vision (albeit in my head, not on paper) of doing something like this to an early 50s Chevy vert. I love it - now lets see someone build it!

Finally after years of coming here and checkin' out all the cool art, I finally have decided to jump in and show some of mine. I'm new to altering photos, but am not new to the custom car and art world. I hope you like it.
