finally on to the next project! the 32 roadster this time i hope on perfecting my skills and trying to make everything perfect and not cutting corners. this cars got to make it to bonneville in 2012 with everyone's favorite Boston car club. the plan for the car is to keep it a highboy stance with un split wishbones, lowered just a tad, and have a late 40's slightly hoped up look.
i also plan on have better quality pics this time.

Nice Pat! A coupe, now a roadster. I wish I was young and unmarried with no kids again so I can spend anytime at all on my car.

I cannot wait to see the progress on this hand made hot rod.

BTW Duece Daddy Don sell copies of original rear quarter blueprints - these may be of some help to you. A friend of mine bought one, and they are right up your alley.

The first car you did was awesome, the fact that you could do it was very impressive to both us and i'm sure to yourself. Now that it is done you can stand back and look at it. You know it could have been better, crisper lines, better paint, you know that, I'm not kicking. I would have been proud of that first car had I done it myself. Now you are doing your second car, this is your big chance kiddo, you have everyones attention, you could go from that guy Pat that did a car to Pat the legend, use that to keep you precise, focused and energized, you know that even if you produce a mocked up running handmade body car and do not refine the finishing details for Bonneville 2012, you will be legend. Don't even think of looking towards the next body, don't start looking down the path, live this build through, the more precise and correct that body is the fewer pooh poohers there will be crying about lines and crispness of detail. Go for legend don't just go for good enough, go for the best and become a legend. Have fun while you're at it, nothing but support for you my friend. Frank

  24. Most people use a saw ot a plasma cutter on 16 ga. Those are some serious cuts for a pair of tin snips you must look like Popeye.

Form the look of it you are way more serious than I am. I'll be wanting to see the end result. Looks good so far.
