I am excited to annouce the Hot Rod Hundred reliability run is comming to Arizona, no lawn chairs, no cry baby dolls, and no Doo Wop music, just you and your Hot Rod on the open road, this is driving event.

The route is about 106 miles and winds through the beautiful Sonoran Desert foothills through Cave Creek and Care Free areas and end up at the Famous Greasewoods Flats for refreshments and burgers.

    Detailed directions and map attached:

This is some of the prettiest county in Arizona and the desert should be in full bloom with wild flowers at this time in April.

We are planning a 10am departure and the route should take about 2 1/2 hours to complete ending up at Greasewood Flats for Lunch at approximately 12:30 ish. If you have not already visited Greasewoods Flats you are in for a treat, they are a icon of Arizona and the ranch and bunk house have been around for 130 years, they have live country-rock music, camp fire pits and great burgers, here is the link http://greasewoodflat.net/

This is free event but if you pre-register and donate $25 you will get an event T-shirt with all proceeds going to the Foot Hills Food Bank http://www.foothillsfoodbank.com/ to feed the hungry so it is good cause,

so please send me a PM with your size and payment can be made via pay-pal to [email protected]

This is going to laid back informal event centered around fun and friendship, so come on out and enjoy a beautiful drive through some of the prettiest country in Arizona ending up at historic Greasewoods Flats for refreshments.

PLease PM me with any questions and I look forward to seeing you on April 12th!

This is a great time of the year for a cruise. And a good choice for the run.

  14. Doug I can't remember if I ever mentioned it, but I lived in AZ for about 20 years. Elementary school through college (ASU). I'd love to visit home and do the run... maybe next year.

**New annoucement!!!** This is FREE EVENT but if you want an event T-shirt they are $25 with all proceeds going to the Foothills Food bank.

Also, I have reserved several tables at Greaswood Flats for the 12th to enjoy good food and live music. They will be hosting another charity at the same time so we will have a nice variety of music.
