I'm sure every good cruise route had it's favorite place to eat. Landrum's Hamburger System # 1 was a 1947 Valentine steel building that became a Reno tradition for 24/7 food. This scene is set in the mid-sixties. I don’t usually do primered cars but, Nicks’ ’37 looked like this back then. Landrum’s closed in the 80's, Nick still has the 37.

Here's a bigger pic of my avatar. I drew this at a Goodguys show in Wisconsin. I had to finish this at home because I got kicked out.

[IMG]Brought this to the Bakersfield Hot Rod Reunion today. It's vendor set up day and it already looks like a miniature city with block after block of RV mansions, a million golf carts and mini bikes and bunches of Ford Comet and Galaxy gassers on one row and Willys gassers on the next. The whole scene is unreal. Met up with Max Grundy, ACME Speed Shop, Nate Greco, Trophy Queen, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's son and some new friends too. If you're reading this and going please stop by and say Hi. I'm in the middle of about a thousand cool vendor booths next to Diablo the pinstriper.

An older one just for fun; my hat is of to Tom Medley, auto artist/cartoonist extraordinary, who, at 91, got knocked on his rump but got back up and dusted off but, sadly, lost his garage, a lot of stuff and his little 40 Ford.... I dedicate this show to you Mr. Medley!
