Technical Help trying to get rid of hidden hinges

    Hay guys I have a 30 model a coupe the prevues owner put some crappy hidden hinges on and tried to flush mount the doors and it's all a bad attempt I'm needing some pics of model a door jams and the top of the door opening to get a idea how things should look....

    Any info or pics you can send my way would be great

    I am guessing they cut and welded either the door edge or the edge of the quarter panel?

    I don't have an A coupe or I would take some pics.

    Maybe post a pic or two of your problems to get some interest going here

    Hey,

    Were the original mounting areas for the hinges cut out of the A posts?:eek: You may be miles ahead to shop some replacement Aposts, and let them in. Perhaps the ones from a sedan will work for you, and be much easier to source?
