I baught a business coupe a while back and im ready to work on it. the person who had owned it before me screwed the stock frame all up, cut the cross member out and squeezed the rails together and put a s 10 clip on it. ITS BAD. Im going to bye a stock 48 plymouth frame for it from a guy here in town. I looked up the wheelbase in a book and its saying that 46-48 all models club coupe, buis. coupe, 4 door and 2 door sedans were 117 wheel base. the one im going to buy is a 4 door. Im just wanting to make sure this is right???

  2. I checked the specs on carnut.com and it shows all 1946-48 Plymouth are 117". http://carnut.com/specs/gen/ply40.html

Also got this from the Plymouth/Dodge site :
    Tire Reference Information
    <TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=1 width=434 border=1><TBODY><TR><TD width=64>

    </TD><TD width=74>Tire Size (In.)</TD><TD width=89>Front Tread (In.)</TD><TD width=92>Rear Tread (In.)</TD><TD width=109>Wheelbase (In.)</TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1946 P15</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>6.00-16</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>117</CENTER></TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1947 P15</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>6.00-16</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>117</CENTER></TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1948 P15</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>6.70-15</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>117</CENTER></TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1946 D24</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>6.00-16</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>120</CENTER></TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1947 D24</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>6.00-16</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>120</CENTER></TD></TR><TR><TD width=64>1948 D24</TD><TD width=74><CENTER>7.10-15</CENTER></TD><TD width=89><CENTER>57</CENTER></TD><TD width=92><CENTER>60</CENTER></TD><TD width=109><CENTER>120</CENTER></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

P15 is Plymouth, D24 is Dodge. So it appears that is correct; all are on 117" WB. If you haven't seen the Plymouth/Dodge site, here's a link:
