Kool post!! This is my dream ride.....One of these days I want to be this
kat in the roadster. I guess it will be a dream until I get wet for the first
time behind the wheel. LOL!!! One of my all time favorite pictures ever

  11. Great thread. Love the photo of that roadster in the rain.

Top down is the only way to go on a nice day.

There is nothing like it. Driving my '26 is like a slightly larger go cart out on the road amongst all the grownups. I feel like I am doing something very illegal whenever I drive it. As for the weather, hunker down and get below the windshield so that biting air does not freeze your face. But the smells and sound of the engine bouncing off it's surroundings is enough to keep my ass warm.....well at least my soul.

The road just looks better through a roadsters wind screen.

Of all my family's cars, the 32 Roadster Grandpa purchased in October of 53 will always be my favorite.

Something about the closeness to the road that you just can't beat. Last couple of weekends have been wonderful here in central Indiana and I have logged as many miles as I can....cause I know what is just around the corner.

My '29 just came back to me fully assembled and ready to drive a few days ago. I managed to get 200 miles on the clock, and hope to have a day here and there through the winter when it's dry enough to get it out (warm would be nice, too, but dry is all that's really necessary- I'll dress for the cold). Nothing more fun than the roadster.

Don't tempt me, I might get lost and never come back... Ha, ha, ha..

That is hard core but coming from you, I wouldn't expect anything else...

    Happy Trails,

Man, Zach, that engine sounds so good. I can't wait to fire (and drive) my "A" engine open headered.

I agree... gets my blood pumping!

Are you guys sleepin' or just dreming about roadsters? This was the post of the thread. I s'pose we'll have to use our imagination no pictures of that anywhere.

  26. You need to be thinking about getting that roadster down to Indy soon to do what we were talking about last summer!!

Tom, Dustin and I were just talking about that not too long ago.

I can testify to that. She drove from Detroit to York Pa. in the pouring rain with no top. She and her friend looked like the Gloucester fishermen in their full yellow rain gear.:D Fortunately the rain subsided prior to this picture.

Ride home. We dont have big brown jagged mountains back east so it made a big impression on us.

  29. Ridin' the north Georgia back roads (with a little quick change whine!). A little shakey with the cam, one handin' it through the curves, but it was a good day and had to capture some of it. :D

Big snugly coat with up turned collar, thick gloves, the feel of the engine heat mixing with the cool air around your head . . . it doesn't get better.
