It's seems to be a really beautiful process and their work is top notch. Now if you back pain ever flares up again you can throw one of those in your cane and strut your stuff.

Those are beautiful! Its REALLY hard to draw perfectly straight on hot glass. Glass blowing is fun to do, but incredibly tough to master.

I wonder what they'de charge for a set of custom glass taillights...

I had them put a Studebaker logo hat pin inside one. I'm pretty sure there are no others like it. There is a size limit but they can help you with that. Size and your imagination are the only limits.

Wow, very cool. Y'know, I can see endless possibilities here. But what is a glass shift knob like compared with a plastic ball? Seems like it would be rather more slippery.

    Yep. Matter of fact: borosilicate.

Huh? You ask...borosilicate - tuffest glass in the world...that's the stuff they make Pyrex cookware out of. And they'll make a knob to fit your hand perfectly...

Best of all, Dichrome is my son's business...and what you don't know about those knobs is that each knob is fitted with a patented metal threaded insert...and it'll fit (and thread onto) 99% of the sticks out there...

Dichrome can make you any color you want, any design...and the designs/colors are only limited by imagination.

He has some new stuff coming out in a few weeks...even "wilder" than the knobs he made for Ryan... (and Ryan, consider this thanx from him)...he went to Steamboat Springs this morn to go skiing on 229 inches of ColoRODo powder...!!!

If you e-mail or call him, please don't expect an answer before Sunday or Monday.

For those of you going to Santa Maria this year for the WCK event, he'll have his whole booth out there and hundreds of knobs to show/sell...

    Check out www.Dichrome.com...
