  9. Saw that, I thought it was an old pic from the 60's until I read the write-up. Nothing like seeing your car in a mag.

Reminds me of Paris Fish's blown '62 featured in Hot Rod driving on the streets; he had to have a passenger with him to see the right side view around the blower. :D

They offer some good subscription rates. There was an interesting article in this issue on how to do searches on the internet - it's an old guy thing:confused:

  13. Yes many of us still do. It may not be what it was when I first started reading it 50 years ago, but I can always find something of value in it.

Pretty cool Bruce. Hadn't looked at mine yet, buried on my desk. Actually not a bad issue. Hope spring gets here soon but now I am fighting the thaw with all of the snow packed around my shop. What a winter.-Jim

Cool! I've got that issue and thought the pic was a great cruisin' shot. Yea, people still read Hot Rod. At $.75 each (subscription rate), how could you not?

  19. Hot Rod may not be what it once was, but it's still cool to see your car on it's pages. I still remember how neat it felt when the mail man delivered my advance copy of the January '62 issue!

    Jim,
    Thanks.
Yea, the winter did suck big time. We in "Southern Ohio" had 50+ inches of snow but it's gone now.
Time to get back on the road.
