Maybe next time, I'll use a car with fins, like a '60 Plymouth, or a '57 Lincoln.

Not sure how hip the HAMB members are....
but yes - this is a direct homage to The Trooper.

Done on my 50 Chevy last night by Ted Kiley. The colors are actually cream and maroon so the pics kinda lie. But his work is so good I had to post it anyway.

Great show everyone! Here is a tiny floor scrap from customcory, its a race with Barris and Roth. I thought it was interesting.

 

Another great art show underway! I have a couple of Iron Invasion pieces to share. Getting now to the 2 week mark before the show! I'm getting pumped!
Last time I showed off a limited silkscreen poster for the event,

now I have the ride in ad sponsored by Half Fast Chicago & Harley Davidson for all makes and models (Hot Rods Customs and Bikes)

Lastly, On the back of the registration card there will be a little keepsake/reminder piece of art for Torque Fest 2013. Let the circus of motors parade begin.
