My good pal Dave Shuten was in town with his new bubbletop doing a photo shoot and stopped at the house for a visit. Well anyone that knows Dave knows he doesn't go anywhere without his one shot and has a tough time NOT laying paint on something.

I didn't even have my coat off and Dave was taking the door off the hinges, laying it on the table and within a matter of a minute or two had this sketched and was painting away. Took him a total of 4 hours from start to finish.

I thought folks here would appreciate his work so I'll post a few photos for your viewing pleasure.

Looks like a standard "art store" lettering brush. I can find 'em at any similar store, with various bristles. They don't load up enough paint to pull much of a line.

I think the last ones I grabbed were the Utrech brand. Couple bucks each. I cut the handles down, so I can't be sure...

Man this gets earlier every week. lol

Paint is still wet on this one hence the center line still there. Thrift store leather jacket, maroon and black stripes.

you won't see very often on a '49-'51 Merc...then I thought what the

Yeah that's a watermark and it won't be on the print. I just put that on there just in case.

Don't have much to post. I should not have put so many of my paintings in the artshow at a time in the past.
Some pen and ink work. Tain't easy drawing a nice line, then doing it again.

    Hey Brush,
I agree with 54BOMB - do a print of the "Olds Powered A Sedan" - I would buy. Something I could hang in my office at work!
