Checked back several pages and the show hadn't started yet, so here goes...

the backgrounds for this weeks offering were inspired by motels and
the post cards you use to get when you stayed at one. '50 Ford
sectioned, lowered, shaved, single bar grill.

    Anthony, great as usual....

question and you can PM me...on the white in that peice...do you lay it down first to make it look so clean or do you do it after the fact. Looks damn clean. It almost looks same style that I like from that guy out west....what the hell is his name....Iverson? Bob Iverson? maybe...

It's been weeks since I've posted anything on the Show, so I bugged Tim to let me share a piece I did in honor of the Westergard Caddy... slightly cartooned rendering, with a background detail, in honor of Master Kurt's dedication to yet another historic piece.
As always, great work again so far this week... JohnnyAngel, you always have a cool concept that's off the beaten path, Janne, again...WOW... and gabo, I love your stuff!

I saw this car at a friends show and thought that all the colors and textures in the rust and peeling paint were cool. The painting is oil on canvas and is 42x30". Started monday, finished tuesday.

  21. My lame attempt at an artsy fartsy photograph. I saw this cool abandoned gas station along a stretch of the old Route 66 a few years ago. I like the washed out old painted words on the walls: "garage", "arc welding"...

  22. Here it is with the picture this time.

  25. Will post some other stuff later but I just got back from a job and on the way picked this little gem up at an antique shop I frequent. The embossed design on the lower part(front and back)looks like it might hold a few possibilities.Maybe I could hawk it on e-Bay as the infamous,"Lost Von Dutch Tackle Box".Not bad for $10.60.

Perperation to the new shirt designs comming out after the first of the year. Just have them set on black now to see how they will look on shirts. These designs are not final. Still trying to narrow down which designs will make the 5-6 shirt cut for the new styles.
