wow, these seem to be getting earlier! heres a 57 buick wagon, with 56 olds headlights, and some peaks down the hood and fenders. its 18x24, colored pencil.

Zombie I love your tecnique. All these illustrations are beautiful! I think this is my favorite one yet! But then I'm partial to wagons.

I decided to start scanning in some old stuff from the dust covered portfolio.

 

Rough sketch, I need to redo the seaweed part.

As a big Dale Sr. fan, whose had difficulty getting all the way back into nascar since his passing, I think it's COOL. Nice tribute. Very nice rendering.

heres what i got so far this week

 

The woodgrain panel is hand painted on MDF,then buried in clear.
The Tiki panel is Green Candy over Silver 'Flake,on MDF.
The Green Pearl,and Black panels are reverse painted on Plexi.

 

Wow, cool stuff people.
Here's a cover-up I put up a fews weeks back and got to add some color this week. Inspired by Roths Drag Nut. Drawn on with pen then inked.

 

Here are a couple I did almost a decade ago. Sorry for the billet, but they were done for that kind of audience.

They are watercolor on Arches 140# cold press. About 13" wide.

 

And a couple attempts at being artsy with the camera Monday afternoon after I got off work. It had just stopped raining, so I snapped a coupe shots before I drove home.
