I guess I've finally got up the nerve to post a few. It's hard to do with all the great talent around here!! Here's a few Finkish creations that I did in #2 pencil yesterday at my incredibly boring day job...

  2. Very good guys. Thank you.

  3. Lots of cool stuff this week. KCsledz, that 'Sacred Parts' poster is awesome. Tingler- those paintings are fucking nuts!

I got laid off, so I've had some time to dust off my brushes. Some of these are old ones that I finally got around to spraying; the rest I did this week.

    Some panels:

  5. Thanks! That's a #2 Officemate on copypaper that I stole out of the supply room... so I better go ahead and thank the taxpayers of the beautiful state of Kansas for providing my art supplies.

    Please show us more.

You're too good to only scribble on a few pieces of paper at work.....

I know you've done other stuff.

    These drawings are absolutely beautiful.

Wow! Thanks, everyone! That means a lot coming from you, Tingler! I really admire your airbrush stuff. I wish I could do that. I haven't been doing much art lately, but here's some older stuff. As in, at least several years old... Mostly posters for local bands that I had something to do with.:D

  21. I attempted a test post the other day and this image was supposed to be what you saw. This "56 Apache color comp is the finished pencil of truck reduced on Photoshop and combined with Photoshop b.g. and frame. The finished origional is appx. 12"x16" prismacolor w/ Krylon semi glosss speckle fade-to-black for the checkerboard;IT has attitude. I'll Post it when I get a good digital image.
(sorry its so big, I'll work on that.)

thunderbirdesq very cool stuff! Thanks for sharing more!
...and jigger, those are too cool! (I'm a big Futurama nerd... and when I saw your earlier post and realized that you directed my all-time fav episode, I freaked... "...don't worry, it widens out after about a mile".)

    Anyway, killer stuff everyone!

  23. There's fans out there? Cool!
As a member of the Mutual Admiration Club May I just say I'm in way deep with some fantastic artists here. I admire the bloody knuckled wrenghers and mettakl fab guys. I'll try to post the "Homer Rod" yet tonight.
    Later!

  24. Is it still Fryday? Can you tell I'm new at this?
Here's a few more pics (Note: Show related stuff
are my own sketches, won't be many, if any,
more as to stay outa trouble with the producers.)
Thanks to bums selling origional Simpsons art on eBay etc.
We can't even give away pictures related to the shows,
not even to little Tommy or Little Sally.

Disclaimer, DONE! Here's an old and somewhat crude
Homer Rod. Tried to get Matt Groanong (pronounced Greyning,
yeh, I know...) and his marketing chief to make a toy out but ,At
the time, they were on bad terns with the toy co. and so it goes.

    Here's a few more samples:
Little thumbnail sketch, practicing my '32s probably one of my 1st.

    Finally,... Nope,...that's it.

That would be D'Agostino's "Marilyn" if I am correct in guessing the car you are referring to. Cream fade with a white carson top? Anyway, beautiful work here, I love the friday art shows.

  28. Yip,......That's the one. That's the guy.
I have a Wacom tablet. Spent an hour or less painting the "57 chevy. Just messing around with P-shop tools. There must be further advantages to using one I'm not yet familiar with. What I really need to learn is Adobe Illustrator (Vectors)
    So, wierd part---
Not Two weeks after completing this "57 sketch (a color concept for a model project) three or four Candy Red/Champagne Gold customs go up on the Barret-Jackson shopping block. How origional.
