    Or maybe a machine shop could do an engine rebuild course.

    my dad and i always joke that we'd pay $20 just to go wander around the HRCC. These classes are great and HRCC is a wealth of info.

    I would love go to something like that ,although I probably should start at a little less advanced class like changing your oil.

    This is a good idea, as beginners often just need to build a little confidence.
    Guided hands on experience and "what to and what not to do" may be just the ticket.

    The classes have been pretty popular in the past. And in the dead of winter, it's fun to get out of the house and do something hot rod related.
