Eagle Field welcomes all Gas Rails May 17th and 18th ROLL CALL for Awards

We're getting ready for our biggest event of the year and hope some SDRA and North West Vintage Dragsters join the HAMB cars. Let me know if your joining us and what kind of car your bringing and I'll have individual Class awards for Saturday, then on Sunday I'll have one award for a Gas Rail Shootout! Don't think the guys from (moracing) out of AZ will make it as they have a two day race "Tucson Dragway Reunion" that same weekend and I know they want to support the racing in the area.

Last I heard from Walt was that they are trying to get 5 dragsters to come down from the Pacific Northwest area. I hope to see Dan Maciel, Jamestown, CA at the ANRA opener and see if I can talk him into bringing his new SDRA roadster out for some fun.

 

Team Geezerspeed'll be there, hopefully with new nose art.

 

Oh boy I wish I could be there, one day maybe.

 

My cousin out in Fresno has been telling me to go out there. He loves this track.

 

Hey Tom , I would love to be there but like all projects, things just took a hard right. Car is done except wiring and testing. Dave just came thru with a 32 bantam coupe body and it will be in my hands this sunday. If my early meas. are correct , it will be an easy fit (sure). If it proves out , i still might make it.

 

We have an awesome 3 round S/FX Match Race scheduled for Sunday! The Brenneman Brothers are making the trip with their 2 WILD Blown Hemi powered S/FX's for Drag racing like 1966!

29 Days!

 

Rocky, I will just run with the Pacific Northwest Cars as it looks like I will be the only SDRA car at the race. On difference in our cars are the tires and I don't think their slicks are a big advantage on the Eagle Field strip.

 

Rocky, I know I can't come to the may event but am planning on coming in October not sure on the other guys hope all goes well. Scott
