Spoggie thanks for the cool start Johnny bitch'n stude! Ok gang this has been rattling in the back of my head for years, but playing with cars vs time to sketch is limited. I've always wanted to do a comic book with the back story of two 2nd generation Russian kids living in Idaho. Originally I was going to have them start with a 49 Ford Business coupe..... But after some major inspiration from N.Ozols I said a Volga!!!! why not a Volga! So after his last post last week I had to put the two ideas on paper. Meet Nickola and Dimitri..aka nickle and dime the Rodskee brothers, Better Rod than Dead! Really rough idea and a quick sketch to get it out of my head, but man was it fun to finally put something to paper.

Finished another Dreamer. I shared some in progress stuff last week, late. Sorry if
    anything is redundant.

    The EZ Build Custom Roadster
Lincoln High school study hall 1961, found Dick Page and Dave Kenton
sketching out plans for an easy to build, yet out of the box, custom
roadster. When I saw the sketch on Facebook, I asked Dick if he would
mind if I took their concept to a full rendering. Here's the result.

Please view this as metal sculpture in progress... I recently had my roadster out the garage and I don't often get a chance to view it at a distance... so I photoshopped a background to give a better perspective and I thought I'd share... hopefully by summer it will be rolling out of the garage painted & under its own power...

  14. Hi guys. I thought I would join in this week if you don't mind.

I could not sell these doors at the last swap meet that I took them to. So I took to them with a brush and some acrylic paint and stuffed em right up with some old dealership logo's etc. They make great wall hangers now. Wonder If I could sell them now?

Great stuff this week, guys! love the new Dreamer Henry J, the Highboy Henry J, and the Easy roadster! And Slider, wow, haha, good to see someone inspiring from my work! The Volga is looking good, I'm now looking forward to seeing the story itself, keep it going!!

From me this week, well, no surprise, a Volga! This time the hood ornament took over the control:

Two color silkscreen print on paper, limited edition of 31 prints, the paper color varies from white to light gray to cream. Size of the paper is A2, The drawing itself is about the size of an A3 paper.

I want to try to ship something overseas, I don't know how it would work yet, but I want to figure it out. So yeah, if anyone's interested in one of the prints, 20$ + shipping cost!

    Happy friday everyone!

Those logos bring back some memories, I guess because I am old. LOL.
I would love to have something like that to hang in my shop here in Indy but shipping $$$ would kill me (and Bomonster has cleaned me out anyway).

Corvette Bob, I look forward every Friday to see what you have contributed. I like it all, some of course more than others. This week's I think is your "coolest," if not your best. Thank You.
