    '57 El Camino Custom
Shortened in the rear, a custom front and rear
    and a '57 T-Bird removable roof.
This could be a lot of fun.

I'll be vending at the Ventura Nationals this weekend and scratched out a few originals like this one for the show. People are always asking for a car I don't have so I write down every car they say and bring it to the next show. But then they always ask for another car I don't have which means I'll be scratching that many more for the next show. It's a vicious cycle.

Bob, that image is too cool. At first I thought it was a 9/11 tribute picture,... it kinda fits.
Deuces, your friend Brat's - - er - - I mean Brad has got some skills... Looks exactly like one Jeff Norwell did using his own mad skills, exactly...(edit.)

Here's a small sketch book doodle I don't think I ever posted, (about 5" from side to side)
Followed by some color I scribbled on...

Holy crap..got something done AND it's Hamb friendly!!

Here is a custom piece for Josh at Brown Dog Welding. He told me "I like military stuff....and my brown dog, do what you do"

So I wanted to make something that had a greasy tank, armor feel to it and also skully up his dog of course. So here is what it started as......

and here is where it ended up....

Thanks again to Josh for letting me get some of the WWII ideas out of my head.

  20. Nice work Dave,...

And, if you don't mind seeing it again, one more, in honor of Todd's, nock me off my feet painting:

    More aliens...

A very limited run of prints I did (25 sets of the 4) FAUXTO-TYPES.... 4 GM motorama ideas that never existed but should have. I love concept art and this is my "faux" version of 4 motorama concepts based on Nomad lines. Sketched on GM studio paper I recreated from an original 1954 GM Cadillac concept drawing (I believe of the LeMans)...the final art is smudged as the original piece and I have even added tech info and phony "notes" from Harley Earl himself.... I plan on doing more $ car sets based on this era, maybe a set of roadsers next?

That GMC Nomad is awesome, Allison. I'd like to see someone actually build that.

    And now...

    Gathering Ballast.

The hay bales over the rear axle should help the Ford get its power down at the dragstrip, and they should also confuse the competition. Just make sure they're tied down good.
