Hot Rods My first 30 model Ford build

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Brads MONSTER, Feb 12, 2012.

  1. Hey guys, well I have been watching all my friends build the cool Hot Rods and I just couldn't stand it anymore so here we go. I found a 1930 4 door sedan. I think its a 1930 anyway. I got the body, frame, a couple rear ends and the I beam frontend with all the junk on it. I have been trying to get started but wouldn't you know I had to work doubles all week so this weekend was the first chance I had to really get down to some work. I managed to box the frame and start framing up the supports to join the body back together. I will be adding some pictures all this week so you can check out how things are going. By the way, all I paid for it was 2 K so I think I got a great deal. I hope you enjoy the build. This is my first one so take it easy on me. I'm open to sujesttions. I'm planing on a 4" channel and a 3" chop.

Awesome. A new guy that doesn't whine about his FNG status, says "hot rod" instead of...well, you know...and posts a build-thread right off.

You go, Brad! Welcome to the H.A.M.B. Ya fit right in.

Good luck with your project. Just don't make 'er 4WD!...lol.
