I'm leaving from Cleveland right after work. We should be in Memphis early morning.

 

GPS says we should go the southern route from Chattanooga. I-59 to I-20 into Shreveport, but it looks like a pig trail from there. I-59 SUCKS.... I'm thinking we will go to Memphis and down, interstate all the way. Leaving Chattanooga around lunch tomorrow should put us coming thru Memphis around 6pm.

What time are you leaving?

 

Heading down to stay overnight in Fort Worth at a friend's then Austin-bound on Friday. Y'all drive safe.

 

Me and Ken AKA Flynkolors will be heading our from his place in Fort Worth about 7 AM Friday. May see ya on the highway.

 

Heading out after lunch. Gotta get me a calzone from this local pizza joint before heading out.. It's to die for. I'll see you at the show!

Hey Lobucrod, I got a bale of hay for the farm truck, and we go to a truckstop and get cowboy hats. Now, what else do we need in Austin?

 

We just rolled into the motel. We've seen deer, armadillo, coyote, possum, & a bird big enuff to fuck a kangaroo, but haven't seen the first Hot Rod yet.

 

Dont get worried unless you see a Kangaroo. Then you know you took a wrong turn up the road somewhere.

 

Mexican blankets.....gotta have Mexican blankets.

 

And everyone here drinks Lone Star and tucks their jeans inside their boots.

 

Well after a late night of trying to finish the car and getting to the home stretch the drive shaft was a 1/2 inch too long....looks like I will be attending without the car this year
